Equipment of the holiday objects
For better orientation we marke our holiday objects with symbols for equipment and characteristics, as well as stars for categorization from simple up to luxurious (1-5 stars). This categorization is made from our own subjective perception and compares not with the official Greek categorization.

We or our local agents visit every object minimum one time a year. The descriptions are based on the last visit. In Villas, Apartments and Studios you will find kitchen equipment, but mostly only suitable for light meals. Sometimes warm water is made by solar-energy. All our objects are furnished in the private style of the owners, ideal for a holiday in a typical greek atmosphere. Please note: In Greece it is forbidden to throw any papers into the toilet, you have to collect it in a special waste bin.
Baby cots
In many objects there is a baby cot to your disposal. Normally it is without charges, otherwise you will see the costs in the description of the object. If you wish a baby cot please ask for it.
Baby food and nappies
You get baby food and nappies in most of the greek mini-markets or supermarkets.
Beaches
All beaches in Greece are public beaches and everybody can use it. Please keep them clean.
Booking
For your booking please use the button “book now” in the description of the objects. Is there availability you get a confirmation by e-mail and after this we will send you an invoice by post mail. Our terms and condtions you will find in our site “terms and conditions“. Payment is only possible by bank transfer, we do not accept credit cards.
Booking times
Normally you have not to book our objects weekly and there is no special day of departure/arrival. But please understand that there is a minimum stay 7 days in Villas and Apartments. If you like to stay less days, please choose a hotel.
Car or car rental
Many objects are situated in romantic, quiet places outside of the villages, near to beautiful beaches. For this reason we recommend a car. You will find good and cheap rental cars in our site “Car rental”. All over Greece you will find petrol stations with unleaded benzin. Signs are in Greek and in English, you should drive carefully and within the speed limits (Highways: 120 km/h, outside the cities 90 km/h, in the cities 50 km/h).
Currency
The official currency of Greece is Euro. In many villages and cities you will find cash machines, in some places there are exchange offices. In higher class restaurants, hotels, shops and petrol stations credit cards are welcome.
Disease and emergency case
In many villages there are official first-aid-stations and/or doctors. In case of disease please ask your landlord. Hospitals you will find in many cities. We recommend a travel insurance.
Insects and small animals
Many holiday objects are situated in green and countrified places, so it could be, that you will find some geckos on the terrasse – geckos are very useful, so please do not chase them off. Sometimes there are cats looking for food: If you ignore them, they will leave. In Greece (like everywhere in Southern Europe) there are mosquitos: In every mini-market you will find good insect repellents. In countrified places it is possible that there will be a mouse: Most of them you can chase off very easy.
Pets and animal protection
We are sorry that we can mediate only some objets where pets are welcome, but most of the greek landlords do not like animals in their objects. But please note, that a trip to Greece will stress your pet and sometimes it is better to let your pet in good care at home.
There are many straying dogs and cats in Greece and we give financial aid to the Kalamata Animal Welfare Society (KAWS) because we want to help dogs and cats in this beautiful country in which we work. If you need more information about KAWS, please click here: KAWS
We have marked the objects, where pets are allowed, but please ask before booking. In every case we have to confirm a booking with a pet!
Pool
Using of the pool could be timed: Sometimes it is not possible to use the pool in the „Siesta“-time (from 2:00 to 5:00 pm) and in the night (from 8:00pm to 8:00 am). Normally the pools are to your disposal from middle of May to the end of October.
Rates
Our rate are guilty per night and object – not per person - including the described additional services. There are no extra charges (e.g. booking charges). Some landlords take an extra charge for using the air-conditioning, this you have to pay in cash locally (for this case read the description of the objects).
Towels and linnen
In all objects you get towels and linnen once a week (minimum). It is forbidden to use the towels at the beach.
